This is ridiculous. I'm 26, never dated or even been kissed and am freaking out over Humira more than I did with 6mp. I'd rather go back to a high level of 6mp which put me in remission instead of psoriasis, heart palps, future new problems with Humira, even if the cancer risk is higher in 6mp....I should have never stopped 6mp :( I'm taking my second shot tonight...

My kid has psoriasis before starting Humira and it cleared it up! Funny, she hasn't has a flare of it since starting humira, and has been off Humira for almost a year now. Don't know about relation but I'm glad!

Both my girls have been on Humira and neither got psoriasis. In fact, they didn't have any side effects at all - no increase in infections, or anything like that. And Humira worked very well for both of them.

Good luck! Try not to worry too much. - easier said than done, I know.

6MP is the only Med that made me a little ill - Humira does not make me ill per se, no Psoriasis besides stuff I normally get occasionally and and my BiPAP mask causes more redness than that.

Hang in there, Humira kicked my butt at first with fatigue but I have got that fixed now with a couple days of Prednisone and a couple days of Benadryl.

This stuff is much better than 80mg of prednisone

I had topical rashes on my neck and legs that appeared 8 months or so into my Humira treatment. It magnified when I went to every 7 days for injections. Since I have added Azathioprine, and dropped my dose to every 14 days the rashes have since then faded.

Humira cleared 98% of my psoriasis. Have you seen a dermatologist for this. Excema can sometimes be mistaken for psoriasis.

Good Luck

I have been having lots of trouble with my skin. May have started before Humira but definitely after 1 year with Remicade. Now on Humira and its getting worse. Antibiotics and topical cortisone helped this time and I am on my way to get it tested. Either severe excema or psoriasis. It comes and goes, last one was really bad though..

I had only minor skin problems for many years on Pentasa.

After a couple of strictures I moved to Humira and have had moderate to severe skin problems in the almost three years since. Doc put me on Azathioprine too, but my arms broke out so bad I had to go into his office without an appointment to show him.

Have seen multiple dermatologists and used multiple products and the only thing that helps me is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP, 0.1%. It's not a steroid, but it acts like one for skin breakouts.

Sometimes it gets worse, like a bone deep itch that drives me crazy, so doc also put me on Atarax 25mg overnight. It comes as a generic too. That was a godsend.

Hi there....have been on and off of Humira for about 10 years now and it helped in the beginning but it has stopped helping so my dr. has added 6 – MP to the equation. When I take the Humira injection once a week with the 50 mg of six MP it seems to help a bit. I am so afraid to be on two powerful drugs 😟

I have been on Humira for 4 years and it is doing very well for me. I have developed some very small psoriatic patches, but my primary care doc doesn't think it is from the Humira.

Humira is actually used to treat psoriasis. However, it also has psoriasis on its list of potential side effects, so I am not convinced Humira isn't the cause. My psoriasis is very minor and I will take that any day over active Crohns.
