Humira and flare?!

What does it mean when I have been on humira for a year a 4 months and I have had 3 flares since being on Humira! It did put me in remission for a few months! But now I am just so crappy feeling

What does your doctor say? Have they done any tests or have you had another scope?

Humira , Hmm, I have been on it for over 12 months, yet in January was taken into hospital for an internal absess, still off work as consultant dosen't want me to over do it , thought I would be back by Easter, still lose blood but not much pain. Just don't think Humira has worked for me, went back into hospital last month for an internal camera, but although the consultant took some samples, he was unable to spray a dye as the bowel was too inflamed, hence being kept off work.

I was kept well on Humira for two years and then had a huge flare! My dr doesn't think it's working well enough for me.

Yeah it's not working for me I keep flaring and waiting for my doctor to see it

I had the same issue. I kept explaining how I was feeling but it was months before they paid any attention! By which time I was very poorly.
I wish now I had stood up for myself more and been firm!
Make sure you do!

When I talk to my Dr he acts like what I am experiencing is so puzzling. Yet all I need to do is read a few posts here and it seems most of my fellow posters would puzzle my Dr too.

At times I feel like I have to prove over and over again I have a Dx of CD.

I finally feel like my Humira is helping but, the things I have read suggests adding another drug helps the Humira work better. I just want to feel better, soon.

Yup adding azathioprine helps the Humira work better
