I was just diagnosed with Crohn's in July. I am 20, turning 21 in 3 weeks. I have been on Lialda, prednisone, and omeprazole since, but about a month ago I was stuck in the hospital because I was too sick. The doctor's want to switch me to Humira because my inflammation has only gotten worse, but I never had any immunizations as a child. Before I left the hospital they gave me 10 shots of immunizations but they aren't sure how long I should wait to start. Has anyone else started Humira without (all) immunizations?

The general rule with biologicals is you can get vaccines just not the live ones. So before you start you want to make sure you have chicken pox and any other lives ones ( there's a couple more I think) otherwise while it would be better to have them done before Humira it shouldn't be an issue if you just get the live ones then catch up after you start Humira.

So basically you don't have to wait if they were all inactive/dead vaccines. If they were live I'm not sure, ask your doc.
