I would call your doctor about the blood. If you have perianal disease like fissures it may be that and no big deal. Depends on how much blood and how often.
You need to complete the loading dose schedule at the minimum before you are likely to see improvement. You haven't done that yet right?
It's hard to say what's typical but 12 weeks seems to be a number that I have read and heard as a realistic number. My son was on it and it took almost 6 months for him to get all the way into remission. But it worked well after that.
Prednisone may have stopped working especially if you have started weaning down.
