I am currently doing pen injections at home every two weeks. I find every now and then that the second week is a little rough. When did you know you needed to go to weekly shots?
Also, how many hours of sleep do you need to feel good?

I've always been on weekly shots, but that's because of my fistula. I also find I need about ten hours of sleep, but that's been like that for years.

What symptoms are you getting? How long have you been on Humira? If you feel like you're not feeling great the second week, it may be a good idea to bring up to your GI, or add in another medication if you're not on an immunosuppressant already.

I have been on humira for 3 years. I have had great remission. The last 6 months is feel that sometimes the second week I get mild cramps and a bit of diarrhea.
I also feel like I need 10 hours of sleep. Last few weeks I have only been getting 7, so another reason why I feel this way.
How long have u been on humira?

I think it would be worth it to ask your GI about bumping it up to two weeks, then. Or asking for an immunosuppressant. You don't want to get worse!

I've been on Humira since last November. :)

I do, yes. But that's been ongoing for years and I suffer insomnia, restless leg syndrome and delayed sleep-phase syndrome. So I don't think it's related to the medication, at the very least.

It may be for you, though. How is your sleep? Are you woken up often or do you have trouble falling asleep, or do you just not feel well-rested?

I am on Humira every 2 weeks. Have been for almost 3 years. Humira has been good for me. Now I am having the same gurgling sounds I use to have before my resection. I have never had a fistula that came to my skin. I have had a fistula that ran between sections of my bowel. I have not had any reoccurance of fistula.

As far as sleep I get about 6 hours a night, but I need more. The day after the shot I just want to sleep, so I schedule my shots at the end of the week. I know the Humira causes me to be fatigued. But I generally think it is worth it.
