I have a problem and need help.

I started TPN almost a month and a half ago and Ive gained weight but it all the sudden stopped.

Not only that. the worst part is that every mourning I have a lot of diarrhea. The diarrhea is yellowish on the T.P and light brown in the water (Sorry TMI).

The thing is, Im a lot more bloated and gassy all of the sudden and it's every mourning and throughout the day i almost feel sick to my stomach.

No vomiting though. Only pain is when i need to go to the bathroom.

Im not eating much orally at all. So im VERY curious to know where all this Diarrhea is coming from.

Please Help.

When my husband was on TPN, he couldn't stop vomiting from the first day. We figured out that he was sensitive to the vitamin additives and also, the speed of the pump was on too high. We had to start slow and increase over time. They also had to customize the solution because my husband is allergic to soy and eggs. He always has diarrhea, so I'm not sure if this was a symptom for him. Also the color of your poo is probably the vitamins, since you are not eating anything else. I hope this helps.
