I was diagnosed with Crohn's almost 7 years ago but extremely atypical. Perfect health between 4 serious hospitalized flares. I was just sent to NYC Mt Sinai for 2 nd opinion. My New more specific diag is SCAD. It stands for Segmental Colitis associated with Diverticulosis. It's a rare sub type of Crohn's. Does anyone have this or know anything about it or someone with this? Thanks
PS: I've been on Asacol for 6 years & just to start 6 MP. I'm scared about this medication.! Hope I do ok on it without serious side effects!

I have never heard of it but, will be looking into it as I don't respond to treatment the way the Drs would like. Although Prednisone and Enotocourt stop they symptoms while I am on them.

The only symptom I have to battle is constipation. I have that controlled now.
