I just picked up one of them Jack Olaine As seen on tv juicers :)

Are there different recopies that are better for a person that's still flared?

Whats some good ones to start out with? I'll hit up the store later on today and try to make something :)

I don't follow any particular recipe but usually have a mandatory ingredients of apples for sweetness. I like to throw in kale, bok choy, carrots and cucumbers and spinach.

Current favourite:

1 large beet
4 carrots
1 green apple
Cinnamon to taste

Looks kinda like used motor oil but tastes great! I've finally just got a juicer at home, if I come up with any other winners I'll post them.

1 lemon
1 green apple
1/2 large cucumber
1 medium head of celery
1 handful baby spinach leaves
small piece of fresh ginger

The ginger and lemon seem to be great for my gut. I doubled this and it makes almost a liter of juice and is a crazy, radioactive green in colour.

I think I need to get out more, I'm having too much fun with the juicer.

Glad to hear you got a juicer. I recommend trying to keep it simple. Don't just throw the whole vegetable aisle in at once. I make apple beet and carrot every morning for work. When I'm home I add more of the green veggies. Just experiment and see what works for you. Good luck

Mines usually carrot, apple, spinich sometimes I mix some manuka honey in it.

Mine is usually Carrots, green apple.celery.beets.But I do experiment sometimes.Kale, sweet potato (peeled),toms,cu are all regulars.

As of right now, since I have now adjusted to the idea/taste of juicing, I have cut back to simply carrots, spinach (or kale) and cucumbers because of my budget. I will throw an apple on there now and then for sweetness when I've got some extra change. :p

I can get either a small bag of organic carrots for $2.00 or a large bag for $5.00 at Whole Foods. Whole foods also has bunches of spinach for about $2.00 each and cucumbers I just get at Wal-Mart since they are so cheap there and less than a dollar there.

I strongly prefer to have fresh, non-packaged/prepared produce but you do what you can on a budget. I have invested in a fruit & veggie cleaner to help clean my produce and rid it of dirt, pesticides and whatnot.

You can cover almost any taste with citrus. I try to get a lot of veggies in this way but I hate things like V8 ... so I just do a lot of citrus and make sure it doesn't get too thick.
