.. what would you do or buy for yourself today. I bought myself a small bundle of flowers. On my limited budget that is a big splurge for me.
If money time and or approval were not an option. I would pay to have my current place made as comfy and inviting as possbile. So that I would not be embarrassed to have guests over. Actaulyl I'd have soemthign that would be inviting .. besides myself that would want my friends and familyand loved ones to come over. Actually I'd probably move. LOL to say a golf course or somewhere people like to drop in.
People don't seem to visit me now. I might regret this.. ack. Some might come and never leave ??? I'd really like new furniture and paint and decorating. So my place is comfy and somewhere I
d like to cacoon.

Wow, your post sounds like my head and life lol. I am getting new windows put in my computer room and bedroom. They face the north and gets -40c here in the winter.

I too dont get alot of visitors only cause I live 10plus hours away from my family and friends. Golf course???? LOL, when my knee gets better I will be back on the course. My biggest wish is to have a house near water. I really miss my cottage in Haliburton, but sold it ,too far away!I want new bedroom furniture and in the fall paint my room and computer room, health permitting. I also want to buy an orchid plant, plain and simple, like my life!

I would say for me would be to get the car of my dreams, a 1969 Shelby Mustang GT.

And I agree that it would be nice to live near a golf course. I currently work on a golf course maintaining it and I would have to say golfers are the nicest people I have encountered.

I'd spend more time with my family - my parents and my siblings. We are spread out all over the place and I don't get to see them very often. It's especially fun when we are all in one place at the same time - a great dynamic as we all get along great and have so much fun together.

This would be worth more to me than anything money can buy.

Wow.. thanks for the responses. Haliburton is awesome. I have a friend in Minden. And another friend is in Haliburton right now. it use to be one of my dad's favourite places to visit.
My mom had a cottage that she sold many years ago. I miss it alot. Laying in a inner tube floating or watching the kids fish. She still has a small trailer in a less quiet place.
I too would love a newer car. Nothing big.. just something reliable and affrodable. my car is 11 years old. It has been a gift from the universe. i would also like a bigger vehicle for car pooling moving etc. HArd on gas but great. Oh and fun to drive !! I've always owned smaller cars. Except my Jetta which was my fave. I need a much newer more reliable one.
I live in the same town as most of my family. We see each other a lot. Some times too much. it is good until one of us is in trouble. it happened when my sister's son drowned. Not good. Than my grandma and an Aunt passed and it has been hard to find our grounding. As people say... my roots run deep here.

If time, money, etc. were no issue, I would travel, travel, travel. I would actually like to live in Europe for a couple of years. I would also like to live in NYC for a while too. Ahhh, dreams.

Like fromthegut, I would reno my house...ok.. I would bulldoze it and build the one I want!! LOL!

I have a beautiful piece of land right beside a creek/river... no neighbours...peace and quiet.... but it is an older "farmer built" house that is need of a lot of repairs (let's just say, if anyone has ever seen Holmes on Homes, poor Mike would be swearing and cussing up a storm!!)!! LOL!

So yeah... that would be what I would do... build a new house on the existing spot....

And then... I really have no idea what else I would do.... lol.

Jump out of planes, no matter what i do out of it im in my element where nothing else matters except whats happening right now. So much freedom
