I have been worried about posting on here again as I haven't posted anything for a while, Anyway here goes I am not quite sure about what to do, I have an appointment with my consultant on Wednesday(3rd of August) and it doesn't always go well because I always feel like he hasn't listened to me or he listens but doesn't really say anything to me :yfrown: so when I go out the door I always feel like there was no point in even going to my appointment.

Anyway I have had the worst time with my Crohn's these past few months :( put it this way Crohn's has come back with a vengeance. I kind of don't want to go and see my consultant because I don't feel like he really cares about what I'm trying to tell him.

So what I am trying to ask is what/how do I go about telling my consultant about what has been happening in the hope he actually listens to me and doesn't make me feel like the appointment is a waste of time??

I agree. there are plenty of GIs in the world. If the one you have isn't listening to you and isn't much help with your disease then it's time to get a new one.

Well I went to my appointment today, it actually went well for once I finally managed to get through to him about what's going on and he is actually doing something about it YAY!! not that the test show anything though which is always annoying but at least something is actually being done. I actually felt good when I came out of my appointment today which is usually very rare he actually paid attention rather than sitting there and making me feel stupid for even bothering to go and see him so today's appointment was actually quite good :)
