in the hospital
hey all. so, i was doing really well for a while since i started on entocort almost 2 months ago. then i had a bad episode that i wrote about on here on tuesday last week at my job interview (good news, tho, i did get offred the job and i am taking it!). since then, i was feeling a bit worn down and flu-ish. then, myu lower right quad pain got so bad yesterday i came into the er for some meds and fluids. they said my white blood cell coutn is up, indicating an infection of some kinds, but they dont know what it is. so, here i am, still in the hospital, pretty much still at square one. they want me to provide a stool sample, but with all the morphine i am taking (thak god for the stuff), it's been the first 24 hours in like a year with no movements! the upside is that this is my first hospital stay since they got internet in the rooms, and i got a private room, which is a big bonus too. so, i guess i will just take this time (hopefully not too much more of it) to relax and heal whatever it is that is ailing me. and sorry if this is a bit incoherent - i am quite doped up and writing in front of a screen across the room from me so i can barely see it! i hope you are all well - i'll write with more on the new job when i'm out and feeling better! now time to try for some artficially induced hospital sleep
