In what way can an IBD affect your sinus?

I've recently read on here that Chron's could affect your sinuses. I've had a blocked nose for aslong as i could remember and just assumed it was normal for me. Could this mean it's cause by inflammation? Also, when ever i bend over (regardless of duration) i feel a large amount of pressure building around my nose.

Any information would be helpful thank you.

Two years ago I actually had to have a tumor removed from my left sinus and need to get it checked every 6 months to make sure it hasn't returned! I never really connected the two until I saw your post. I always had sinus issues and it continues....thanks for the enlightment.
