I was diagnosed with moderate Crohn's Disease last year and have just switched from Pentasa to 25mg of Azathioprine and 100mg of Allopurinol. Whilst on both sets of medication (and prior when not on medication) I get infrequent (but regular) periods where overnight (mainly) I get a racing heart rate and chronic heartburn. This will happen most nights for 7 - 10 days and then stop.
My doctor has not been very helpful.
I was wondering if anyone else has ever suffered something like this and whether it was likely related to my Crohns or not?
