Is my infliximab wearing off?

Hi, chancing getting a reply as its 1:45am but I can't sleep, iv got this annoying cramping pain.
So,
0 weeks- 1st infliximab- all went fine and it lasted the 2 weeks, no pain.
2 weeks- 2nd infliximab- had a reaction while I was in te hospital, 1st week now pain, 3 weeks on and off cramps.
4 weeks - 3rd infliximab- all went fine, one week pain free, cramps started again last night.

I don't think iv been asleep all night, feel tired bit can't sleep coz of this cramping pain. Do you think that because I'm getting pain one week after the infusion that it isn't working for me or is wearing off after a week. Please help I am worried. As much as I hated the reaction from this I had and having the cannula put in (cant stand needles) I really don't think I would be able to do humira.

don't be panicking. you've only had the 3 loading doses. its good that you are getting improvement straight after the infusion. it means it works. its only a matter of tweeking the dosage or bringing the infusions closer together.

Are you on any other meds? When my daughter started Remicade they had her on prednisone and slowly weaned her until the Remicade was able to take over on its own. It took about 5 months for them to settle on a dosagage and schedule and be able to wean totally off any assistance for the Remicade.

Hi, I'm feeling better now. I went to a&e because I had thrown up 9 times in 2 days and the last time before I went to a&e I threw up blood so that's why I went to a&e. they gave me iv fluids and some blood tests, and an X-ray. The Urria was high, ether dehydration or bleeding inside, inflimation slightly raised. They did let me home as I get really upset staying in hospital. They said if it gets worse i have to go back but it hasn't its gotten better. Also the Thursday (day before it started) I went out for lunch with my mum and dad. I did eat a lot and had chocolate fudge cake afterwards. We think it might just be the fact iv eaten to much but also think chocolate cake hates me, had a chocolate Brownie ages ago an it made me feel ill and now every time I think of that chocolate cake I start feeling sick so I deffinatly think its disagreed with me.
