Reading through posts on here, I'm reminded of the fightclub quote where the narrator's doctor tells him to swing by the testicular cancer support group if he wants to talk about real pain. A lot of you have it way worse than I do; I feel incredibly lucky on more than one front after hearing some of your stories....
I still get to vent though
My doctor just told me surgery is probably my best option at this point. So tomorrow I have to explain to my boss at my new job of only 6 weeks, that I'm going to be out for 2-3 weeks (or however long resection recovery takes). I kind of feel relief in that I don't think they can legally fire me or drop my insurance, but at the same time I can't help but think that this job is doomed and I'm going to be settling for lackluster work for the sake of health insurance a few months from now.
basically, it sucks.
