Hi,
Haven't been on the Forum for a long time, however things have changed a bit for me.
I had 3 operations in 8 days last August and now an proud owner of a baby stoma.
Lost over a quarter of my body weight the 2 months I was in hospital, not a recommended way of loosing weight.
Getting better and managing to do a few things now, shopping by myself, mowing the weeds, (takes a few attempts) and motorbike riding.

I'm heading over to Western Australia , hopefully, soon to participate in an organised bike touring rally with a Forum motorcycle club I'm in. A Bucket List Item

I was wondering if there are any members here who have done some long distance bike riding with a stoma ???
I'm going to post off soon a months supply of stoma stuff to a mate in WA.
Is there any hints \ tricks about holiday preparations esp being on a bike for a month ???

Cheers
Ken

Welcome to the club Ken. Again I can't help with your query but have a fantastic time - sounds like a great experience.

Actually I'm on holiday at the moment and all I did to prepare was make sure I had more than enough stoma supplies, and I always have two or three kits made up with everything i need for a change ready. But I'm in a caravan so have plenty of space - not so for you on a bike.

I'd say just have more than enough supplies at hand...more than you think you'll need. Have fun on your trip!
