Hi All,

My right elbow is so sore! It's woke me up through the night for the past two nights and if I fully stretch or bend it, it really hurts.

Any suggestions on what can ease the pain? Ever since my op and not being on meds some of my joints have ached but this has been the worse and my psoriasis has come back! Looks like my naughty crohns hasn't gone into remission after the op :(

I had an ileoceacal resection in Dec 2013 and am now booked in for colonoscopy on 28th March as they want to check for inflammation. So at present I'm not on any medication and the surgeon doesn't want me on any until after that.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Yvette.

Have you eliminated gluten from you diet? Doing so has surprisingly helped relieve my joint pain completely.

This doesn't work for everyone but I learned about Epsom salt (take a hot bath--or cold if it feels better, I guess and pour the Epsom salt in). It didn't exactly help 100% with pain but the swelling really went down.

It's in the medicine section--I'm pretty sure--of CVS, walgreens and probably other places.

I'm not going to promise it will work for you but it helped for me.

Hi,

Thanks for your advice, much appreciated.

Days off - I haven't tried gluten free, this joint pain has only started after my op and not being on meds. I will look into this.

Lils - I'll try to find the salts, anything that might help :)

Thanks again :)
