I thought I'd start a review on my juicer. If anyone has a juicer and would like to add a review then please do so.

This is a single auger type juicer. What made me choose this one is that it doesnt heat the juices up as much as centrifugal juicers, thus keeping more vitamins and nutrients. The juice can also be stored in the fridge for up to 48hrs without loosing any of its nutrients.
Although this is a quite expensive juicer it does come with 20yr motor, and 5yr parts warranty.

The instruction book is very easy to follow. It shows how to put the thing together, gives a little bit of insight on why fresh juice is good for you, how to juice different kinds of fruit/veg and also a few recipes at the end. This type of juicer can also make pasta, babyfood, nut butters, salsa, sorbets etc It also allows you to juice wheatgrass.

I found it very easy to set up and use. All you have to make sure is that the produce is cut small enough to fit down the chute. As carrots are skinny, they do not need any cutting up at all. Apples I cut into eighths. It seems to make light work with everything that goes into the machine. It does recommend alternating soft fruits with hard fruits/veg. I.e blackberries and rasberries need apples to help move the juices down the machine.

The pulp coming out the other end is very dry, with little or no pulp making it to the juice. I do find small seeds from blackberries will make it through, but will drop down to the bottom of the juice so thats no problem for me.

Being so lazy, I am very impressed with the amount of time it takes to clean the machine. Only 5 parts + 2 beakers to clean, and a brush that comes with it to help means that the machine can be taken apart and cleaned in about 2minutes.

The attached images show the machine. Frshly made Orange juice and pulp (not sure if thats a little bit of pulp or just froth on the orange juice, but its a very thin film that could easily be removed with a spoon. The other is a blend of cucumber, celery, carrots, apples and ginger i made yesterday
