Just Dignosed. Just Joined

Hi everyone,

I just got diagnosed with Crohns last week after 8 weeks of medications, hospital stays, antibiotics and scopes.
I was told that joining a forum might help me cope. So, here I am.

I'm looking for friends here who can support me during this awful time.

I'm 15. I love to read and writing is my passion.

Through my colonoscopy and endoscopy, the doctors found out that I have 24 ulcers in my stomach and that I have H Pilori.

Hi Vanilla, this is a great support forum. My 10 year old daughter was diagnosed in Dec 2009 with Crohn's disease and after another colonoscopy and endoscopy in Feb, they have added Ulcerative Colitis to her diagnosis. I found this place a couple of months ago and have learned more in that couple of months, than I did in the past 2 years.

Hi everyone! Thank you for welcoming me here so nicely
I am currently on Mesalazine (2 tablets twice a day) an omniprazole(1 tablet twice a day)

I hope I can befriend many of you here. I am slightly afraid of joining a forum like this. It's big step for me since I just don't want to face this disease.

AngryBird- This has been a particularly bad week for me. Mesalazine tablets have been increased this week too. I had to get my parents to pick me up from school yesterday due to the extreame pain
