So I am still not sleeping well, a whole 2 hours last night. I am still in massive pain in my joints and back even taking some heavy pain killers.
I am sure that is not helping my attitude. Today when I got home from picking my son and his friend up from school, sitting in the line for 30 minutes with my guts aching, all so they did not have to walk 5 minutes, my dog decided it was a good idea to start charging at us walking in the door. Err my HUSBANDS DOG. He is 60+ pounds of pure muscle and was in spaz mode trying to say hi and or run out the door to be a freak around the neighborhood. He stepped on my foot, cut it open with his claws. Then starts wapping the Christmas tree with his tail, ornaments went flying. Of course the kids, two 7th graders who are over 5 foot 8 mind you both start spazzing because the dog is spazzing, makes the dog spaz more! Of course my dog had to start barking in the middle of all this, like the cocker spaniel is going to do something when Loki gets nuts? I wound up chasing my dogs around the house screaming like a banshee at them. I never scream like that. I am usually pretty mellow I might do a little snap but not truly screaming.
Then my son thought it would be a good idea to take over the TV never mind it was on, I was watching it before I had to go get him and I was already screaming like a banshee. Kid got the screaming next about selfishness and the tv, and of COURSE I had to continue screaming over all sorts of stupidness like the toilet seat being left up, not doing chores and grades.
I started crying about 15 minutes later. I did go apologize to my son after the fact. Nothing like knowing you screwed up and there seems to be nothing you can do at the time.. it's like something snaps.
Of course there was another kid here! I am really thankful that I am friends with his mom and warned her that I am having issues, bad issues.
The best part of all this is I have no idea how long this steroid reaction is going to last considering they injected it into my joints... I think its supposed to be a long acting steroid.
I have a sore throat/ear ache on top of it, just did my Humira injection right before that started. Just another thing to go WTF about.
Thanks for reading my rant. I think it is just one of those days.
:grumpy:
