Hmmm, no.. but you've given me an idea (and since mine are so scarce, I will take them from everybody).

Heres my thought.. Need to check with Mike, and all the other members here who are taking LDN.. we create or add an LDN section, and my LDN diary, and Katiesues, and anyone else who starts this specific treatment, we move to that section.. So, anyone who is contemplating LDN just needs to look in that one section for anecdotal, personal accounts of taking this experimental treatment.. It would certainly benefit them, AND it might benefit the Forum.. As LDN gained in popularity, googling it may lead folks to the Forum. It may seem a bit grandiose to dedicate special space to just one treatment... but I think its going to catch on big time, slowly, and the benefits of doing it this way surely justify the action, and the work.

Well, it will need the OK from Mike, for the obvious reason, and because from the looks of things, a mod can't add a forum, or a category. The difference? Apparently in a forum you can add additional threads... which I don't think we want.. Just a category centred around LDN, or Low Dose Naltrexone, but in which we CAN post.. but not diverge (at least without the admin changing it back into a forum). Now, I wonder where Mike is?

I think it's an excellent idea. My son is not on LDN but, as a potential treatment for his crohn's, it is certainly something that I want to stay current with in terms of information.

Kev - I don't think its grandiose at all to dediciate a special section to this one treatment. LDN definitely seems like a very discrete treatment in itself of crohns, and having one central place to communicate would be terrific.

Kev that's a great idea. I'm going to be trying to get my GI to put me on LDN hopefully my next counselation with him. Your thread help me out so much and I really hope we can get this LDN section done. Plus having a section dedicated to LDN may attract more attention to the forum then just a few threads.

I'm seeing my GI this Friday and I will ask him about LDN with my little file ofcourse But I don't know if we haveLDN or compounding pharmacies here in Lebanon..... Let's see

i asked my doc about it yesterday during my flexible scope (nice time for a conversation, just laying there anyways)

he's never heard of it here in Aus, so i've started contacting every test group i can think of over here to see if any one is thinking of trialing it.
