I was wondering if anyone has seen any studies / data suggesting a link between the two.
I noticed most of my triggers are foods similar to those my friend with pancreatitis cannot eat, such as peanuts, black pepper, and other spicy seasonings.
High fructose corn syrup is another trigger, fructose is processed by the pancreas.
Canola, gluten and corn oil are my other main triggers, not sure if pancreas related.
I tried supplementing with enzymes and pancreatin but so far it hasn't enabled me to eat any unsafe food, or reduced symptoms from borderline foods.
