Lomotil

Hi all. My GI just put me on Lomotil. I have been taking it for about 3 days. I find it doesnt do a whole lot but makes me bloated. Also, I am swinging between anger and tears today. Has anyone else experianced this? I am takin 2 in the morning and 2 at night.

Hi,

I was given lomotil many years ago but it didn't really help me.
I tried various anti 'D' meds (Questran,Codeine,Lomotil,Loperamide,etc).
Once i got the CD under control i found loperamide suited me best for my short bowel 2 resections left me with.
