Hello together,
my Doc wants to put me on tinidazole long term (it's a bit like flagyl). There is concern that flagyl might cause cancer in humans (no data available, so it's speculative) and it is a proven carcinogen in animals. So I'm worried to take it long term.
I would like to know from the people who have taken it long term in the past, if they had gotten a cancer diagnosis and if not, how long the cancer free period since beginning of flagyl was. I know this is not representative, but I would feel much better if I know that people had taken it for months and had 10 years of cancer free follow up or so.
Thank you
