I am going to a party in a couple of weeks. Everyone has to bring a plate of food and we have a finger buffet. Only thing is, I have no idea what to take! I am on a low residue diet, so want something that fits in with that (so I know there is at least one thing I can eat!). Also I don't want to take rice or pasta as the weather has been really warm and I don't want anyone to get food poisoning!

Any ideas? Please??

A nice baguette with some spread that you can eat always works. Personally I like a little goat cheese and honey on top. A tray of melon (honey dew and canalope) with a nice dip is another idea. I have also done homemade chicken fingers. Hope that helps!

I've always had good luck with deviled eggs - boiled eggs are usually safe for me, and you can make them as mild or spicy as you want. I also like Kelly's idea, goat & sheep cheeses are always very mild on my stomach (don't upset me like cow dairy does). Have fun at the party!

Yes! I would say eggs too!
egg mayo butties, yum yum, and I live off them!
