Crohn's Disease Forum

Help Support Crohn's Disease Forum:

I have followed some of Jordan Rubin's tips - the diet is quite a regime, but I do believe it would help. I will try anything that is non-medicinal - as I believe 99% of health problems can be somewhat eleviated through diet.
I use the BRAT diet continually.

kalpana-I'm a big fan of this book. Although I am a little leery of when anyone tries to sell me something, as he suggests with his line of supplements. I do think that taking a therapeutic grade probiotic is a big help. Have you read the Gut and Psychology Syndrome book? By Dr. Natasha Campbell? It is also a really good resource in explaining how to heal your gut with food. Although, in my opinion after doing the GAPS diet for 10 weeks, it is very difficult to stick with. But, I do believe that these type of treatments can work. Also read Nourishing Traditions, as Jordan Rubin uses a lot of the info from that book as well. It is my most well-loved cookbook!
