Me again - after effects

Well its the 2nd day since my colonoscopy/endoscopy and am still feeling really rough, have had to take another day off work cos just havent managed to get strength back to go in. I know that you are supposed to feel a bit rough for few hours after but this is still ongoing. Have had a continuous headache since started the dreaded klean prep despite drinking loads, yesterday everything I ate sent me straight to toilet in about 15 mins and then subsequent world falling out of bottom syndrome. Also my throat feels like there is a golf ball caught about half way down which I suppose means it is bruised from endoscopy.
What are other peoples experiences of the sedation, is it normal to feel this lousy for this long and also am sleeping even more than usual too.

Hi I had my scope yesterday, feeling sore and washed out today, with dull low pain in my right side (this is always there) I have a bit of a headache but not like you describe. I have also had my bowels open since the scope and these have been bright yellow and D. I was given Midazolam and 50mg Pethadine, feel a bit out of it. I went to bed and slept throughout the night other than taking some pain relief. Slept in till late todayand just taking it easy today. Hope you feel better do you know what sedation they gave you?

Everyone is affected differently because my theory is everyone gets different medications to be put out. I get 3 needles a pain med and a forget med, not sure of the other but I wake up very shortly after and never nausea or groggy. I always drink water after a test to get rid of what ever is alien to my body. Having said that you could be just taking a little longer to get out of the tiredness.
