So I'm meeting with my GI in two days to discuss the possibility of surgery to remove 30+ cm of my terminal illieum and part of the colon. Im really nervous:shifty:

Ive been on predisone for over a month starting at 60mg a day and going down by 10mg a week and also started imuran two weeks ago. Neither of them are working and my symptoms are getting worse. They are the worst about 3-4 hours after dinner. I have been trying to eat smaller dinners, but it is hard being on the roids !

I want to make sure I'm prepared as possible going into the appointment. Any good questions I should ask?

Thanks, Shawn.

Hiya Shawn..
First off..i do hope things start improving for you soon.
That said, I can only image how nervous it must be for such an appointment.
After I got diagnosed with CD recently, my GI asked me if I had any questions...and I said yes!..Yes I have..I have 10 questions..:) She was taken aback by my preparedness.
Focus on you questions and discard nervousness as best you can..and you can.
Check this link for a bit of help before hand http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/crohns-disease/DS00104/DSECTION=preparing-for-your-appointment and the very best of luck..
Take care Shawn..
