Literally just come off the phone from talking to my specialist, told him about my problems coming off of Entocort & Methotrexate reaction. I've been told no more Methotrexate. I also told him him that after all the pain yesterday I think my stricture has once again shrunk(dilated last month) & he seems to be going down the path of surgery. Hard as it is I tend to agree although I've said I would like an assurance that I could go back on Humira maybe 6 weeks after because I'm so scared the disease will come back as it has before quickly. Otherwise I'll just be having the same conversation with him this time next year. Dont know what to think really, just a few weeks ago everything looked so rosy.
Still if I can get through it ok & get on the humira who's to say it wont work. I think it will.

Hi Grant I understand your dilemma. Have you not tried Remicade yet? I would try that before having surgery because you are right, you have a higher rate of getting it faster each surgery you have. Humira was mild for me and metho did the same to me, and I had metho twice.

Are you in alot of pain and are you vomiting? :hang:

Hi Pen, I think the problem with Remicade for me is that I have sensitive skin & have already had some carcinoma's removed. Its one of the reasons I was taken off of Azathioprine.
I will certainly ask about it though next week when I see the specialist.
Tks & Rgds
