mouth ulcer
hi,
dx with crohns in summer after op. looks like its going to affect my mouth too as ive developed a mouth ulcer this week (came on tue but started to feel it bad yesterday). its up at the top of my mouth on my cheek near my wisdom tooth. I have to push the cheek away from my teeth and shine a little torch in there to see it. it looks like a gruesome ulcer and feels bigger than it looks.
so does this suggest my crohns is still active? im only starting azathioprine next week and i know that takes months to become effective..
been having pains at the site of operation today, like someone has a knife and is scraping me on the inside.
oh and ive been feeling really tired and with headaches all the time since tuesday.. even tho ive had plenty of sleep. when i stand up the pain/pressure in my head gets worse too. taken a few pain killers tonight but have been reluctant to until now as i dont really want to mask my problems.
also been passing blood with stools. though ive been doing this since feb... went to my doctor about it the other week he basically said not my problem see your specialist... the specialist said its a cut or fissure (fistula?) at the entrance, whilst the colonoscopy showed nothing... so no one wants to take responsibility or do anything about me shitting blood since feb... lol. couldnt care less by now anyway...
what should i be doing? does this mean im going to suffer from mouth ulcers regularly throughout life since its obvious im already prone to them?
strange how all my symptoms have started showing all at once when ive never had a problem before... never had an mouth ulcer in my life!
