Mri Scan

okay so much frustration today at the GI clinic i let her know how i was feeling and obviously explained my appearance in the a&e department the bleeding etc, she agreed with me that i look worse and that i am looking thinner and has agreed to do and mri scan on my bowel so waitin for this, has neone else ever had this and did it diagnose you or was you stillleft without any answers.?

I was in the ER and had an MRI. The Dr said Crohn's can be missed on an MRI.

She did not see it on the MRI.

Really? thats not good news for me as im counting on this test sort of showing something up has anything ever ever shown up with an MRI scan and did you have to have any preparations?

Not sure about the MRI but I'm wondering if crohn's can be missed on CT? I'm assuming so...because like I posted on another thread...my best friend had a CT which was normal and just three short days later...she had a scope and it showed severe, severe UC. I would assume MRI could be similar? Like I was saying on my other thread.....I'm to the point now where I just want something to show something...it's so frustrating! My pain seems to be getting worse every day and I want some answers! Good luck Porter...keep us updated!!
