, calprotectin result very high so have to go for more scopes. She mentioned infliximab or surgery so will now have to wait for results of scopes to see what next step is. Hate this disease!!
This is sad news. Has he been on MTX for long?

Fwiw Mtx was not enough for DS either.
Remicade scared us but it was the best thing for DS .

Mtx didn't work much for my daughter either in the end, but before we dropped it we added a biologic (Humira, as Remicade was already something tried). Has your doc considered combo therapy? It has worked well for others. Hope you find remission soon!

Scopes next week, didn't have to wait long so we all happy about that. Kian dreading the bowel prep....any advice on how to make it a little easier for him to take, last time he mange one small cup but got so upset he could take anymore and that was it mixed with blackcurrant cordial. X

We do ducolax plus miralax and gatorade
There is a slow one three days of just miralax only prep but less volume at once you can ask about .

Poor soul. Andrew also hated the prep (and having had it myself, it is truly disgusting!). I don't know if they will let him, but I used a lollipop to help get it down. Kind of held the lollipop right next to my mouth and had a lick to take away the taste. Means he is not eating anything, just getting a better taste on his tongue. Good luck

Sascot we must have gotten the lollipop trick from you because we did that last time and it made it so much better. I would make her take 3 swallows and then suck on the lollipop. It worked well.
Dodie74, at our last MRE Brian had to drink gatorade mixed with Metamusil. At one point he was upset and couldn't get another sip in. So we got up and walked around. I was surprised how much that helped! He got down another whole 10 oz. I know its different than getting ready for colonscopy...but its still drinking something you don't want to
