Need advise

I have battled with Crohn's and paincretitous for little over a year. I just moved to henderson nv 4 months ago and had to start all over with drs. I had kaiser in California so it's totally different here. I have spent close to 50 days in hospital over the last 5 months. The problem is the pain is so bad I can't sleep or even walk some days. They give me Norco or oxiecotton to help but I
really don't want to be dependent on them for my day to day living. What can you guys suggest for the pain??

Hi and welcome to the forum! Yes, it is very hard when you first switch insurances. I did that last year and totally understand where you are going! Have you settled on a doctor? It looks like there might be 3 in our directory in your area.

Pain is a horrible thing and I don't blame you for not wanting to be dependent on meds for it. But, do think you should be talking to a doctor if you're in that much pain. Maybe they'll have some ideas as to what you can do to make things a little easier on you. Please keep us updated on how you're doing. :hug:
