New GI Doc

I have an appointment with a new GI tomorrow. I'm kids nervous. So where do I start? What do I ask? It's like I'm starting from scratch.

Another thing. I was prescribed Demerol by mouth for abdominal pain. Has anyone else err taken this? Side effects? Was it hard to get off of it?

In the past I've brought a list of things for the new doctor. Quite often the things I bring are usual things that he/she usually ask anyway. I usually carry a medical card on me at all times too and show the doctor to make things easier. I started with a new insurance this last year and had to start from scratch because the first doctor I saw didn't have any medical charts or anything on me. I don't know if you're doing the same thing I did, but if so you might need a little more than I'm giving now.

-Current Medications & Vitamins/Supplements
-Date of Last Period
-Allergies
-Current Symptoms (If you're flaring)
-Diagnosed Conditions
-Past Surgeries
