My name is Eleonora or nickname cupcakeprincess (can't eat cc, do like them haha) . I live in The Netherlands so that explains the mistakes I will probably make in English.. (O ok it has a spelling check, great! wrote it in office first to check) I've been reading here for a long time and think its better then the Dutch boards, this is much more active (Holland is small so less people off course).

I was diagnosed at 18 years old. Been in and out the hospital for three years. Had to stop school and actually most of my life then. After that I was in remission for almost three years but unfortunately now flaring so bad I can't work anymore. I feel really sick all the time and have a lot of diarrhea. In one month I lost about 10 kilos! This is so hard for me. I'm so scared this will take a long time again. I have a colonoscopie on Thursday and of course the prep on Wednesday.., Yuk! Hate that.

I think it has a lot to do with stress. In the past year I lost my baby boy during pregnancy (nothing to do with crohn btw). Now we are trying again but that only makes the stress worse. I really want to have children and I'm so afraid it wont happen..

Hi cup cake princess. Sounds like you have had a rough ride. So sorry to hear about your beautiful baby and i really hope that all will work out for you. Try not to stress, I know that's easier said than done as I think that is what started mine this year and finally was diagnosed. I wish you the best and keep my fingers crossed for you. There are loads of people here who give great advice. I am new too but feel so at home. You will too.

so sorry about your baby boy, that is so sad, hopefully once you're on the mend you will have a successful pregnancy.
Stress is a killer alright, I think we've all had our fair share of that!

Losing a child is very hard and we need time to let ourselves heal both physically and mentally. I know what you are going through and I am here if you need to talk. You are in my thoughts.

I think I just need time. Only the waiting is so hard! I feel so guilty to my boyfriend. Because I am ill again he also has to wait to start our life's over..

The main thing is you are working at getting better and not avoiding it. With positive thinking and determination (which I feel you have otherwise) and of course allowing for that little bit of time to heal, I'm sure you get on the right road. Rooting for you!
