Hi! I just stumbled on this forum a couple of weeks ago and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a 50 year old female who was diagnosed in 1982 following urgent surgery. I have CD throughout my entire GI tract(one of the few I suspect) and am currently on maintainence meds for my disease. I've had two surgeries for CD one resection in '82 and a stricture removal last January.

:welcome: to the forum! At last someone my age lol...I have had my diagnosis 1993 but had symptoms in my teen years and mysterious flu's every time I moved. Hard to get info way back then, no computers . This community is a great way to get first hand knowledge of meds and sharing vents and giving others your experiences.

We are all different but we have the same lifestyle, most of us. I have had 2 resections and was worried a 3rd was near. Now I just do what I need to do and try to avoid stress, but not easy. Glad you are here, nice of you to join us!

Hi and welcome! I am sorry to hear your Crohn's is throughout your entire GI tract. What maintenance medications are you currently taking? Are your symptoms under control?
