describing my story, i've been diagnosed as a crohn's patient since 2 years ago where in that time i was having blood lose, lose of appetite and severe weight loss. i've passed through a colonoscopy and the doctor noticed my illness where i started a series of medicin begining with corticosteroids of 40mg for 2 months, then pentasa 8 pills a day for a duration of, i don't remember, around 5 months. during that period i was obliged to have every week blood test and then i did another colonoscopy where the doctor realized that my previous part of my intestine which was full inflammation has been healed but now i have the other part of it damaged till this present time. now i'm taking immuran 2 pills a day where i had to take 3 pills before. but my major concern is that i'm not having any weight gain since my first weight gain when i started to take corticosteroids where my weight reached 73 kg. My weight now is 62 kg and my height is 1.9m. i lost what i gained before due to several stomach illness followed. Concerning nutrition i started now to take omega 3 (fish oil) 1 pill a day and a prescribed elemental 028 but still i didn't take cause the dosage is not yet known.also i can't go clubs since i cannot eat any from the food they offer nad neither the drinks since alcohol is forbidden. i want to know if anyone can help me in any way to gain my weight back since this is making me feel really bad hearing people saying oh how thin he is.
