Hi! :ysmile:
I was diagnosed at 18 with Ulcerative Colitis. I've been sick off and on throughout the years, but the flares eventually went away. Then, in October/November of 2000 I had a flare that went on for months. This last spring of 2011 my doctor did a colonoscopy on me and found out that I now have Crohn's. The flare has continued, but is very slowly going down some. I have been blessed with a loving husband, friends and family that have helped me all through this. Thanks for listening and Hope you all are having a Merry Christmas today:)

Greetings and welcome and a merry Christmas to you as well :) I'm so glad you joined the group.

Would you like to share your current treatment plan? What are your current symptoms?

I wish you all the best and hope to see you around the community!

Sure! Would you mind walking me through how to add my current treatments? I currently am constantly passing blood with majority of my stools/diarrhea. Pain and nausea when I'm not eating like I should. Need to do some more trial and error to get all symptoms straight along with what I can and can't eat though.

Hi and welcome to the forum. You can tell us about your meds/symptoms here if you like. If you want to add them to your posts automatically (like I have) then Click User CP then Edit Signiture down the left hand side. Then add what you like in the box and click save signiture.

I find eating little and often easier on my stomach. So will have 5-7 snacks throughout the day rather than 3 main meals.

Welcome to the forum, Cross-stitch gal. :)

I'm sorry that your diagnosis has changed. What a tough hand to be dealt.

Anyway, I'm glad you've found us. I love this forum. There is so much comfort and information here. I hope you end up loving this place the way most of us do.
