This is an update, rant, and my story. I haven't been on here for a while, and need to keep up with this site as it has helped me in a supportive way, reading those who go thru the same thing that i am going thru. I am at a point where i want to give up. That there hasn't been a solution yet and the bouncing back and forth from doctor to doctor to ER to ER.

This all started back in 07/2012 when i started having stomach pains, diarrhea, no appetite, vomiting, fever, swelling of hands with rashes on face, and dizzy. After going thru pages of doctors i thought i found one that was great for me. Well i went thru tests doing colonoscopy, Endoscopy, blood tests. After a long couple months being in pain they found in 10/2012 a bad gallbladder that was taken out 10/23/12. They said it would take a month or so to have my system go back to normal. Afterwards i was still having sever diarrhea but was felling only "phantom pains" from the surgery.

I have after have changed jobs from brain injury specialist to regular resident assistance. I drive 50miles each way. I tell you this because in the last couple of months i have not been able to make that trip without stopping to use the bathroom. I started this job 03/2013 and i have already had to file FMLA for missing a week in the ER, Workman Comp because of puking and fainting and hitting my head after not feeling good its been a nightmare.

What my symptoms are now: Sever diarrhea (6 times a day depending on how much i eat and on chloestramine packets) vomiting after eating been put on anti nausea, sharp stabbing pains on my left upper stomach was put on pain meds but I stopped because i don't want to be addicted, I've been "puffin up" my hands and feet and take Allegra, having acid burps been put on omiprozole. Black watery stood and fresh blood after wiping so much.

I have gone to the ER 3 times but before every time going id call my GI doctor, he recommended me to go in, but after getting blood drawn and a urine sample then they send me back home and say check up with your GI doctor. On the 3rd ER visit when the nurse told me the same thing i broke down and cried. i cant take this anymore. I got another colonoscopy and endoscopy and that was over a month ago...i still didn't get my results, when i call, they "cant find them" or "they don't understand what the doctor wrote" today i was finally going to have my check up date after 1 1/2 month of the procedure, but when i called to make sure the time, i got a "your not on our list for today" even tho i had a voicemail saying it was today.

I'm just upset, frustrated, pooped out (see what i did there). i still have some of my humor but its hard on days i don't feel good. i have had "accidents" in the past 2months, break downs, too many trips to ER and sick of trying to explain to work whats wrong with me when i don't even know. if someone has any advice please let me know. i am currently looking for a new doctor. thank you!!

Wow!this sounds slightly familiar to me had a stressful job, worked to many hours pretty much lost control of my backside for months pain, sweats the lot.my gp was great with me I learned to stress less if doesn't,t matter tomorrow it doesn't,t matter today.i,ve had loads of tests my consultant isn't,t that good.i found diet changes helped me annoyingly some healthy options were horrific, try fish, chicken, rice boiled not fried potatoes,be carefully with alcohol, experiment with breads, raw veggies bad, homemade soup veggies well cooked or blended before your road trip to work are you eating something that sets you off?experiment.if I,m going out or a long drive I take an Imodium tablet for insurance but not anything like I used to.it does get better.exercise has helped me be it walking the dogs or going to the gym.
Good luck

I hope things get better I,m sure they will,I checked out your photo album niagara falls looks great,my sister and I have got lucky and we,ve been invited by a friend to go to Vancouver next summer,I,ve been all over the USA but never Canada.
I,m madly into fly fishing so I,m gonna have a shot at salmon/trout fishing, very childish of me but I can hardly wait seen so many tv programmes about it.looks stunning.
Good luck

And have fun fishing, I've seen shows about normal fishing or noodling in Canada but haven't watched the fly fishing one, I think it's because I stink at fly fishing lol:rof:
