No more entorcort for me starting today:)

Okay so I went in for a case of a minor small case of ulcers on my small intestine so the doctor put me on 9mg/day for the first month then down to 6mg/day the second then 3mg/day for the last month. Well.. Today will be my first day completely off of entorcort as i went thru the 3 month process. I feel great, I've been feeling great for a month now, finally feeling like my normal self again. I'm not on any other drugs so I'm medication/drug free as I don't see my doctor for another 3 weeks. Do you guys think I'll be fine med free? I'm not diagnosed with crohns yet or atleast I do t think I am. Will I be okay from this day on?

That's impossible to predict. Only time will tell, but I hope you'll be fine. Glad you're feeling good now, though.

I mean that they have put me thru colonoscopies and a bowel follow thru but They just said I have minor ulcers on my small intestine and they are trying to get rid of em which I think they are gone now because I'm feeling normal again but I don't want anything to come back because I'm not taking entorcort anymore

When I have a flare Entocort helps me feel better. However, after i wean off it I can have another flare the next month or months after. Only time will tell. If you have any symptoms come up, don't ignore them and make sure you get it checked out.

Steroids will stop the inflammation, but won't treat the cause. So the question is whether whatever caused it happens again.
