So - it has been a long time since Colette and I were active on the forum and I'm sure there are those that thought we dropped off the face of the earth!.

Well we finally fly to London this Tuesday for just over three weeks, for those of you who remember my mother and her cancer we just got some encouraging news that the radiation treatments are paying off and the tumors have shrunk considerably. Here's hoping it keeps going in the right direction and we head towards some kind of remission.

Also the Dr interview is still on the boiler and will be published for everyone upon our return in early November. Sorry we couldn't update sooner but too much going on including keeping Colette's flairing under control before the trip.

We will keep in touch.

All the best,

Stephie & Colette

Hiya, :bigwave:

Have a safe trip and I hope and pray that your Mum keeps responding well to treatment and finds lasting peace and relief.

Stay well Collette! :):):)

Thinking of you,

Hey girls, thanks for the note(s)!! I guess you answered my question:)! I really hope you get the chance to enjoy part of your trip!! That's good news about your mother Steph!! Try not to stress Colette!! Enjoy yourselves!

So, we finally made it over. It was of course very emotional after not seeing my mother for 10 years. All was going well up until yesterday, she took a turn for the worse and now is back in hospital. Today I'm off to visit her cancer specialist to try and get the full story, so fingers crossed. Apart from that it's been great here, lovely to see all my family and enjoy the sights and sounds of Yorkshire and of course there's nothing like mum's home cooking :)

Hope you are all doing well on the forum wherever you are. Colette is new and improved since we left the stress of L.A. and hasn't had a flare so far and has cut down her meds again which is great! The weather, the food and everything about England seem to fit her very well.........

Anyhow, updates as and when and pic's when we can figure out our new digital camera :)

All the best,

Stephie and Colette

Woohoo, so good to hear from you both! I hope your Mum is going to be okay. It's great to hear you are doing so well Colette and I hope it stays that way. Continue to enjoy the sights, sounds and family.

All the very best, :)
Dusty
