Noni juice or aloe vera?

I drink Aloe Vera everyday I don't know if it has helped has not hurt. It seems to make my skin clear ;-) and my hair shinny.

NO to Noni-when I was going in for surgury I had a low blood count, apparently because I had been drinking Noni, which made bleeding worse. Aloe vera is great, soothes my tummy, second what Awbrey said :)

i like aloe alot... my dietician suggested to drink the sugar free stuff as the reg. one is mostly sugar.
Never had Noni... what is it??

Noni is a juice extracted from the Noni fruit in Hawaii. Commercially prepared Noni juice can cause hepatitis and has quite a few warnings if you Google it.

George's Aloe is my favorite because it has no additives and tastes just like water.

Thanks Jeanette
I have been to most of the Hawai'ian Islands.. I have seen them but never heard the name before... I googled it :)
I wil have to look for Georges Aloe.. have never seen it here.
Also... is that your dog? Is it a Samoyed? I have always wanted one :)

I tried aloe vera but never stuck with it long enough for it to make any difference. I've been taking noni juice faithfully for about a week now and plan to continue for a month to see how I feel. So far I don't notice anything different but the stuff sure tastes terrible.

Thanks Jeanette

Hi Wendy, yes he's a Samoyd, but he's not mine :( Vitacost and AMazon carry George's with reasonable shipping, just in case you need to get it online.

Thanks Jeanette
my friends have 2... Tasha and Christie. They both like to run ... and keep running if they are not on a leash so I got my pup instead. She stays by my side :) Sure are cute though!!

A quick aloe question--

Is it most beneficial to take the juice, the gel, or the latex from the aloe plant? In capsules or liquid form? Can anyone recommend a brand?

I wouldn't recommend aloe to anyone. You're free to try it out but most of what I've read from people who have tried it is that it just gives you diarrhea. I don't need anymore of that.
