I have not read this before. I firmly believe that bacteria play a significant role in Crohn's. Hopefully this good bacteria is one that eliminates the bad ones that plaque us.

I wonder if this specific bacteria is available now as a probiotic.

I think thats what they are testing at the moment. And if initial tests prove successful then there could be a new treatment coming. Doesn't sound like a cure, more a subtle ongoing treatment with hopefully less/no side affects compared to usual treatments.

If they can put a treatment into a bottle the size of Actimel or Yakult that you drink once a day I'd be there like a shot!!
