I am not sure if I am describing the area correctly but I am getting pain in the lower portion of my right side. The lady who does acupuncture on me talked about a valve that was trying to process food too fast. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do for it?

Have you seen a doctor ( GP)?
It could be just a muscle or many other things that actually need to be looked at ( kidneys etc..)
Please talk to your doctor about it.

I also had this pain, its called right flank pain. Mine was from constipation. I have a stricture in my TI and have constipation issues. When I haven't had a bm for a few days I will get the flank pain, then I know to go to liquid diet until I have a bm them the pain will immediately go away. Like the others said tho, you should probably call your doc just in case.

Not to be an alarmist, but my daughter had that pain shortly before a bowel obstruction. It wouldn't hurt to have a doctor take a look to rule out anything serious. Hopefully it is nothing to worry about.
