hello all, long time no speak! i havent posted here in a very long time, ive been relatively symptom free for a while, other than the odd mild flare up here and there.
anyway, i have been extremely stressed past couple of weeks, new baby, new job and new house all at once, i must be crazy! which has caused me a bit of a flair, nothing out the ordinary, until a noticed a small lump by my anus, around the size of a pea. it ached a little for around 4 days but nothing too bad, then yesterday as i got into my car after work, i had the most intense stabbing pain at my anus, a solid 8/10 pain wise. i got home and asked my partner to take a look for me (shes a nurse, so not too weird to ask!) and it had probably doubled in size, slightly raised and red but no leaking puss or warmth. today has been extremely painful all day and has got slightly bigger again, still no leaking puss or warmth though?
what could this be? ive never had this before. I rang the IBD specialist nurse today and she cant make an appointment to see me until the GP, which im hoping to see tomorrow morning.
sorry for the long post and thank you for reading!
