My brother Has his Phd in biology, was talking to some doctors 2 years ago either in Iowa or Idaho that seem to think that by putting parasites that are wood eating so wont hurt you, that the immune system attacks the parasite and leaves the good bacteria alone that they normally attack causing the body to not properly digest food. They tested it and it seems to work. They originally came up with this theroy because of all the parasites in people in south america and the non existence of crohns there. Well my brother ran into one of the doctors testing it at some conference he was attending and he said it will be FDA approved and on the market within 5 years. Not to sure about all the facts couldn't find much research on it but it seems to be a logical approach. Can't remember the book when I first was diagnosed with crohns but the author suggested eating dirt and some other wierd stuff to keep crohns at bay. Not sure how about actually putting a parasite in my body but has to be better then taking the humira shot and methotrixate and all the other pills. Curious if anyone has heard or knows more about the wood parasite or the testing or thoughts on if it will work..

I read your link David and I am pretty sure I have a limit on what I might do as far as treatmant goes. I think I just found that limit.
