partial obstruction, loops, inflammation
I posted here 2 or 3 days ago with a question about if I might have a partial obstruction or not, and today I saw my general doc (not GI) and after hearing about my symptoms (maybe 1 stools a day down from 9 per day) along with having a cow they sent me for an x-ray which they said showed a small bowel loop, I forget of what diameter, ileitis, and dilation.
aka partial small bowel obstruction from what I understood- is that correct?
they called me after hours so my GI is gone already but were gonna fax it to them, so they can read it themselves, and my GI earlier in the day said I needed to call them as soon as I heard back about my x-ray, and they said I should have gone into the ER days ago judging from how I'm feeling. every day it is becoming more painful. I really have no idea what is gonna happen from here because its been days that its been getting worse and isn't getting better. I will talk to my GI tomorrow but I'm so nervous and I'm in so much pain!
If it is an obstruction that isn't going away what do they do? NG tube, surgery?
