Peristomial fistula

Does anyone has had to deal with a peristomal enterocutanneous fistula?
Did it ever leave or it always come back. I had one last year, started humira, it was gone, but a new one is back and fiercely. Does it sounds familiar to anyone?

Hi PsychoJane,

I do not have experience with Peristomial fistulas. I would recommend you document exactly when the new one came back and try to maintain written records on your observations of it. This way you can document if any changes occur and what exactly changes.

This can be useful for when you go to the doctor next as you can give some detailed notes on the fistula's reappearance.
