PillCam?

How long do you normally wait to get in for a PillCam? I am in Alberta (Canada) and just want to know if anyone from Edmonton Alberta has gone for a PillCam and how long they had to wait.

I've never had one before but I've seen some people on here mentioning waiting for about 3 months.

Wow...seriously?? My doc told me 2 weeks and it's already been 4.....argh! Why do they do that! I called the office and receptionist would only say that the req has been sent and it takes a bit longer then the colonoscopy (which was 5 weeks).

I was lucky enough to only wait 1 week, though 4 weeks for results ( gastro who reported was on hols). But I am in the uk , whereas I see you aren't so times will be different.

Although cancelled mine was booked within 2 weeks, am in the UK too.
