Hi all,
Was cleaning out my medicine drawer (feel like a chemist) and found one of the "second skin" plasters that Andrew had used for the split skin inside his butt cheeks (lovely)
Any way I know alot of the kids and adults suffer with these problems and I couldn't remember the name before.

DuoDerm Extra Thin (Hydrocolloid Dressing)

You can just cut it to size and stick over the split skin (clean and pat dry first). It stays on for up to 5 days and allows the skin underneath to heal. :thumleft:

Thanks for posting Sascot. :)

I hope you don't mind if I add a couple of precautions when using these types of dressings.

These type of dressings work because they create an ideal environment for wounds to heal. As a result they are not mean't for use on infected wounds as it can also promote the growth of harmful bacteria.

Ensure the edges of the dressing remain in contact with the skin at all times. If the contact seal is broken it can allow bacteria into the wound field and cause infection.

Dusty. :)
